Beef is priced by hanging weightBeef is ~$7.00 / lb hanging weight. The deposit is $2,000 for a half share and $4,000 for a whole. Final cost varies with the animal’s hanging weight. Country Pride’s processing charge, cut and wrap plus the slaughter fee, is separate and is paid directly to the processor.
